In Ventimiglia, local police and carabinieri carry out evictions quite frequently, forcibly removing people on the move from their makeshift shelters. During this operations, they confiscate many of their belongings, including essential items like blankets, mattresses, and tents. There are also internal conflicts in between people in distress, leading to violent episodes where perosnal stuff gets affected.
The result is a permanent but urgent need of material support. NNK’s budget is limited, but solidarity is not. So now, you can support donating this tent, to directly contribute to the safety and dignity of those in urgent need of temporary shelter.
Important: This tent is not for the donor’s use, but will be delivered directly to the field to provide immediate relief to those affected.
